Opportunity House was the beneficiary from the 100 Men’s October meeting and will be awarded $4200. Opportunity House is a day shelter in Concord that provides two meals a day, showers, laundry, clothing, and computers. It has a housing program with the long-term purpose of getting people off the streets and into housing. It provides guests with GED assistance, help getting ID’s and counseling for substance abuse and mental health issues. We look forward to hearing about the impact of our donation at the January meeting. |

International Center for Community Development (ICCD) in Concord, NC is dedicated to promoting community and economic development. ICCD sets the pace for public services and community education through a unique combination of after-school and adult learning, youth development, and improving human condition for low income, under served, at-risk and the disadvantaged in collaboration with communities.
