Our quarterly meeting will be next Thursday, October 19 at 7pm in the Coltrane Room at Central United Methodist Church, 30 Union Street North.
Presentations on behalf of the following groups will take place at our meeting.
- Operation Decisive Victory – a nonprofit veteran support organization focused on services which preserve the quality of life of veterans.
- LIfeline Ministries – provides nutritious meals to children and families facing hunger in our community and around the world: students, refugees, families, as well as communities recovering from natural disasters.
- Wish for Wheels – empowers well-being in kids, families and communities through the gift of a new bike/helmet to 2nd graders in Title I Elementary Schools.
The meeting will start with a review of how our last donation was put to use by The Open Door House, followed by three presentations from members, a discussion, and a vote. We will finish the meeting at 8 PM.
