Working to help ours help themselves |
Our quarterly meeting will be thisThursday, January 18 at 7 pm in the Coltrane Room at Central United Methodist Church, 30 Union Street North.
Presentations on behalf of the following groups will take place at our meeting.
Piedmont Choral Society – an all-volunteer, auditioned chorus that includes singers from across the community. PCS provides high-caliber performances of both sacred and secular choral masterworks with orchestra. Concerts include an annual fall hymn sing and an all-patriotic music series in June.
LIfeline Ministries – provides nutritious meals to children and families facing hunger in our community and around the world: students, refugees, families, as well as communities recovering from natural disasters.
Wish for Wheels – empowers well-being in kids, families, and communities through the gift of a new bike/helmet to 2nd graders in Title I Elementary Schools.
The meeting will start with a review of how our last donation was put to use by Operation Decisive Victory, followed by three presentations from members, a discussion, and a vote. We will finish the meeting at 8 PM.
Please join us in person if possible. If unable to attend, email your vote to Tim Foley: tfoley265@gmail.com
